In order to service her customers, she customed created each and every one of her cakes today to fit the couple needs of design, accents, flavors, dietary and budget needs. Donna continued down the curiosity path developing methods for the customer. This is how she learned to design more affordable wedding cakes, make vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and developed her line of packaged products Donna Joy’s®.
Elopement Cakes ~ Tuscan Buttercream
Sweet Vegan Tuscan Textured Harmony 2014.
This sweet elopement size vegan cake was frosted in a ivory vegan-buttercream. The pattern ” Tuscan Textured Harmony” was made by using a spatula to make the pattern. The cake was trimmed with a running ball border.
The Cake was adorned with Donna Joy’s hand sculpted pastillage sugar white Calla Lilies accented with sugar green leaves. The sugar calla lilies placed in clusters creating a cake topper and accents on tier and base of the cake.
