Cream Cheese Frosting Recipe

minutesDonna Joy’s classic Cream cheese frosting.
Ingredients
1 pound Cream Cheese (room temperature)
1 pound Butter (room temperature)
4.5 teaspoons Vanilla
5 1/3 cups Powdered sugar
Directions
- Using a mixer blend cream cheese until soft. Slowly add butter in 4 mixing well between each addition. Using a spatula mix sides and base , then mix. The butter and cream cheese should be soft.
- Add vanilla and blend.
- slowly add powdered sugar one cup at a time.
- Mix well until light and fluffy.
