Who, What, When and Where
- The Sedona-Oak Creek Canyon Chamber of Commerce INC. incorporated in 1960 as a membership assoication, trade assoication.
- In 2008 the name was changed to Sedona Chamber of Commerce, INC.
- In 2014 the trade name,”Sedona Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau”
- Date of First Use: October 1, 2014 Date Registered: December 2, 2014

The Sedona Chamber reports to a Board of Directors composed of the Chambers Members.

Who, What, and Where the Sedona Chamber Members are is important. The Board of Directors manages the corporation, set the policy, and directs the Chamber CEO.

- Associations, Business Services, Financial Servies, Construction, Churches, Professional services such as Attorneys, Architects, Cleaning, funerals, Utilities & more, Medical, Real Estate, and more subcategories.
- Categories types include:
- 159 Subcategory types include much more than a “Visitors Bureau”
- A random check of the subcategory Tours & Sightseeing has 9 companies outside Verde Valley, Which is 18% of subcategory members.
- 71% of Chambers members wouldn’t qualify to be a member of a Government DMO Model, tourism tax-driven Convention Visitor Bureau (CVB).
- 16% of the Chamber members have a City of Sedona Business License
- Chamber Members represent only 15% of the City Licenses

- Sedona Chamber is a Membership of businesses and people, Each one should pay dues. The Sedona Chamber of Commerce’s own records indicates not all businesses are paying membership dues.
- No exclusivity for the Offical Municipality Destination, competitive destinations are promoted.
- Businesses are charged more for units, rooms, offices, licenses, and seats.
