Sedona Cultural Park Vote
The community needs for the Sedona Cultural Park began years before the land exchange. The community volunteers and donors worked hard to create this community need. Together worked for years for a common cause.
Under this Forest Land Exchange proposal, the United States would acquire approximately 724 acres of non-Federal ( offered private) and have access to roads national forest area: The Sedona Cultural Park’s proposed Master Plan includes an access road crossing this excluded area. The alternative of exchange includes approving a special use permit for the roadway in this area.
Based on the information the forest land exchange was approved.
