City Employees by zip code

Posted on August 11, 2025May 16, 2026 by Donna Joy

We heard over and over that Sedona needs employee housing. How true is that? Is there a need or a want? Do families choose other locations to raise their children?

City of Sedona Population Growth – Donna Joy
We all know that the City of Sedona has over 200 employees with these employees being the highest paid in Sedona. As the continue to grow the city has 48 over 100K and one employee hoovering just under 200K while the City Manager is over 200K

The most popular location for City of Sedona to live is Cottonwood a beautiful quick 18-minute drive. Cottonwood is more traditional shopping than Sedona. Schools are rated higher than Sedona. Cottonwood also has many private schools to fit the needs. Housing is less. Businesses are in all sectors, Cottonwood isn’t limited and controlled by excessive traffic issues.

What has the City of Sedona’s Tourism First Agenda effected the population growth? City of Sedona Population Growth – Donna Joy

Zip Code Distribution

City Employees Stats 2026Download
Under Sedona Government Tourism First Agenda, the only things that have grown are TRAFFIC, CITY GOV, TAXES, COST of LIVING, GOV WASTE & DAYTRIPPERS!!!!!!

Documents prove that before incorporation Sedona had 3 million visitors a year.

What has all the millions of dollars spent on tourism marketing done to Sedona? The City cheapen the experience and visitors’ experiences by the cheap advertising. Destroying a fun funky art town by chasing the repeat customers, residents and businesses out of town.
